Hong Yip has always been dedicated to driving sustainable green management and energy efficiency. On 28 May 2026, Hong Yip and CLP Power Hong Kong (CLP Power) co-hosted the launch ceremony of CLP Power’s “Summer Saver Rebate Programme 2026” at Tsuen Wan Plaza. The ceremony was officiated by Ir Prof Lo Chi-wah, Director of CLP Power Customer Success and Sales, and was attended by Mr. Ip Siu-chuen, Director of Hong Yip, who delivered a speech on behalf of the Company. The event highlighted the close partnership between the two organizations and reaffirmed the shared commitment to driving community-wide energy saving and carbon reduction.

Integrating Energy Saving into Everyday Life

This year, Hong Yip's Tsuen Wan Plaza, Mikiki and GO PARK Sai Sha installed CLP Power's “AI Smart Energy Saving Kiosk”. Through immersive interactive games and AI avatar creation, customers can explore and receive personalized energy-saving tips, seamlessly integrating environmental awareness into shopping experience. At the same time, four of Hong Yip's major residential estates, Wetland Seasons Bay, Wetland Seasons Park, Century Link, and Oscar By The Sea, took part in CLP Power's innovative "Greener Swim Night" initiative. During peak demand hours in the summer, residents were encouraged to enjoy a swim at their estate pools, turning a refreshing activity into a meaningful step towards lower household energy consumption.

Deepening the Green Partnership

Hong Yip's collaboration with CLP Power goes well beyond individual campaigns. Since 2024, both parties have jointly launched the “CLP Eco-Grade Energy Efficiency Grading & Rewards Pilot Programme”, rewarding residents with ratings and privileges based on their monthly energy-saving performance. Hong Yip has also dedicated a “CLP Power section” within its proprietary SoProp mobile app, enabling residents to access their CLP Power accounts and monitor real-time electricity usage at any time. In recognition of these sustained efforts, Hong Yip and eight of its managed properties received Certificates of Appreciation from CLP Power at the ceremony, with Hong Yip being honoured as the “Strategic Partnership Excellence”.
